Top 100 EDHREC Challenge

I'm taking on a new challenge! The goal is to create custom EDH decks for the Top 100 commanders from the past two years. Each deck will have a unique theme, and my aim is to complete the full list before December. I will be using the top from EDHREC: https://edhrec.com/commanders

On average, each deck takes me about 24 to 48 hours to finish, depending on the complexity and any obstacles I run into. My plan is to work as quickly as possible—without neglecting website orders or my personal life 😅

Realistically, doing this the conventional way would take me around 150–200 days, but I’ve already come up with a few strategies to speed things up. The first (and easiest) one is to reuse the mana base. Since most top EDH decks share very similar mana bases, I can often reuse the same frames and text—just swapping out the artwork. This saves a ton of time, especially since formatting the mana symbols and aligning everything is usually the most time-consuming part of the frame/text process. In some specific cases, I might still include unique lands when a deck really calls for it.

If you want to follow along with this series, I’ll be posting updates right here! I’ll share progress, behind-the-scenes bits, and maybe even let you help me choose themes for some of the commanders. It’s going to be a wild ride, but I’m super excited to push myself creatively and see how far I can go with this project.
